Gem! A hidden place known for warm hospitality and turquoise waters. The Kite surfing academy and scuba diving centre are top class and run by experienced individuals.
Visited this place with a bunch of friends over the US Independence Day weekend of July 4. From the moment we landed to the time we had to leave, it was a fabulous trip.
The best place for the beach in India!
I have been to Aqua for atleast a week every single month from August 2020 to October 2021. I have never felt more welcome or at home in any place like this before. Great people, great food, great dogs and great views.
Excellent family escape – the kids loved it!
Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!
Can’t wait to go back. The place is off the beaten path, but totally worth it. Their reading nook by the sea was my escape and the food and snacks never stopped. And did I mention how delicious the food was.
A family run resort, situated in an incredible location, a perfect getaway from chaotic city life...and, if you like the ocean there's no place you'd rather be.
Kitesurfing, Kayaking, Diving, Wake boarding ... friendly waters of the lagoon, great hospitality & superb food.
Aqua is a family owned property, that is managed with pride & passion by the Mothas'.The activities & certification courses conducted at Aqua are handled by a young, talented team ably headed by Arjun Motha, himself a certified fitness trainer, champion kitesurfer & all around avid sports enthusiast.
Tuticorin is one of the oldest port towns in India, and was the seat of Portugese trading in India in the 16th century. It was once called 'Pearl City' because of the pearl fishing that was an integral part of its economy. Today, the coral reefs and lagoons that harboured the pearl-growing oysters are a part of the Gulf of Mannar.
Tuticorin has warm temperatures year round ranging between 30°C (86°F) and 33°C (92°F) with the drier months of January, February & March offering the best weather.
Blessed with an abundance of strong winds blowing most months, it is a prime destination for kitesurfers.
